Live AV Showcase / Mumbai / 2026

The debut live show of artists Shreesh (live DJ) and Tanya Dixit - tantriestoart (live visuals). We played to a small gathering of 10 people at a private venue in Mumbai. Audio-reactive visuals generated with the Live Overflow toolkit.

Maker's Asylum

Internship / 2019

A three month long internship at Maker's Asylum, Mumbai that taught me the best practices in rapid prototyping and simple interactive systems design. I built some cool stuff, too.

I create static & dynamic visual art using digital image processing, glitch, and generative techniques. My artistic choices are informed by my queer existence and the systems of nature. The more color, the better.

I've been actively collaborating with artists for the past two years on projects, experiments and music. I've been part of the Chipko Punks artist collective for the past six months. My friends and collaborators have made me who I am today.

My Process

A honed edge, A deep craft.

Measure, calibrate, simulate, hypothesize, experiment, observe, repeat. This is how I get my work done.

Research the system

Start from the source: movement, voice, curated video, field recordings, club rhythm, environmental noise, live camera input.

Design the translation

Define how input becomes form. Turn gestures into distortions in phase space. Formant frequencies into scales of Perlin noise. Convert a constraint into a mode of expression.

Prototype the system

Build small, modular tests keeping the K.I.S.S. principle in mind. Once locked in, avoid future tech debt; keep the system clean and legible.

Test in real conditions

Run it with the craziest end user in mind. Debug constantly, keep hunting for edge cases. Stress test first, deliver later.

Document the artwork

Export static videos, stills, technical notes, diagrams, and short write-ups so the work is understandable to curators, employers, artists, and future collaborators.
